Why the Associated Artists of Butler County (AABC) does what we’ve been doing since 1934:
We know a vibrant arts community is important to the economic health of our community. We know exposure to the arts helps build self-confidence in our children and translates to better academic performance in school. We know Butler’s youth need a positive alternative to the streets. We know our local artists enjoy being able to exhibit their work in the largest gallery in the area. We offer a large venue for Butler’s non-profit organizations and private entities to hold events.
Free for veterans- this six-week photography course is taught by three instructors (Paul Scanlon, Steve Harding, Ben Hughes). In this course, students will learn about different cameras (from DSL to smart phone cameras), basic camera controls, lenses, and gear.
The course will also discuss composition, exposure, light, color, texture, and more!
Class Schedule:
Aug. 12, Aug. 19, Aug. 26, Sept. 9, Sept. 16, Sept. 23.
