MEET THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE ASSOCIATED ARTISTS OF BUTLER COUNTY
KENNETH HERTZOG
President
Ken has been involved with the Center since 2004. He is a member of the Butler Area Woodturners group and is the force behind bringing woodturning classes to the Center.
JENNIFER SPRYN
Treasurer
Jenn has been involved with the Center since around 2016. Her specialty is portraiture, at which she excels. She is also the artist behind the sculpture at The Children's Advocacy Center and recently published a children's book called Denna's Dream.
MEMBERS AT LARGE
Steve Harding
Director of Education
Steve has been involved with the Center for a number of years and has served as interim president. He's a multi-talented artist and teacher who enjoys watercolor painting. He is also an avid motorcyclist.
Marianne Hill
Marianne joined our board in November of 2023. She is an artist who makes jewelry, rosaries, Christmas bulbs, etc.. and loves taking photographs. She is an office manager for Hill's Tree Care & Nursery, LLC and President-Elect of Soroptimist International of Butler County.
David Pinson
Dave joined the Board in the Spring of 2023. He is an experienced businessman and wood worker. Dave is also involved with other nonprofit organizations.
Benjamin Hughes
Ben also joined the Board in the Spring of 2023. He is an accomplished photographer and has been a vital part of the Center for many years.
Paul Scanlon
Paul rejoined the Board earlier in 2023. He is past president of the Board and his photography has graced the Center's walls for many years.
Terry Kaiserman
Terry joined the Board in the Spring of 2023. He is the founder of Butler Coffee Lab, a nonprofit organzation dedicated to serving the physically, mentally and intellectually disadvantaged community in Butler.
Mary Beth McQuistion
Mary Beth is an aspiring ceramic artist who joined the Board in the Spring of 2023. She is currently employed at Thompson-Miller Funeral Home in Butler, who is a generous benefactor of the Center.
SHIRLEY MCCAULEY
Secretary
Shirley became involved in the Center after she took a ceramics class in 2018 and became a member of the Board shortly thereafter. She is employed by AARP and is the office administrator. She also enjoys pottery making, jewelry and photography.
STAFF AND TEACHERS
Courtney McNamara
Courtney teaches classes at the center
and leads the Caring Quilters group.
She is also the theatrical and marketing
directors.
