Whether you have experience sewing or not, we would love to have you! The blankets we will be making will be very basic and collaborative, with some people sewing, some ironing, some cutting out squares, etc. If you have fabric scraps that you'd like to donate for the cause, that would be wonderful as well! The plan right now is to meet on Thursday afternoons from 1-3 starting in February. We will plan to donate the blankets to local places in need in the community. All ages welcome.

In this 2.5 hour session, the basics of clay management and handling will be presented, including wedging, rehydration, slipping, slab construction and throwing. Students will create a hand-built piece after various projects are demonstrated. All materials will be provided for this session including firing and glazing. A prerequisite class for future pottery classes. 10 student limit. Materials included in cost. For older teens to adults.
